How do we choose, in the moment, what path to take with our art—whether it’s the next move on a particular painting or the next creative idea you should explore?

In the previous episode Bec and Michele talked about balancing times of open-ended exploration with times when we jump in and commit, and that ultimately there is no single right answer to these kinds of questions. So, moving forward requires a level of trust… in ourselves, in the process, and perhaps in the art itself.

Michele reflects on how she built trust in her art process and what that looks like day-to-day in the studio, while Bec has a sudden insight about trust, control and our art rising up to meet us.
